Pierre Gagnaire was born and brought up in a family, where everyone was a restaurateur. For him, it was quite obvious to dream of being a restaurateur. Ultimately, he may not have known what the future held for him, but he had the skills and zeal to become successful. This resulted in him extending his career in this industry for 40 years.
At the age of 26, he was able to collect his first Michelin star. Currently, he owns 12 restaurants. He is very serious about cooking, but does not view it as a competition. Rather, he says, kindness is the key to cook the best food.
Pierre Gagnaire On Foods At Less Cost
When considering the world-famous chefs, it is obvious that their food will be too costly. However, Pierre Gagnaire does not think so. He can go through a healthy and tasty diet even considering a person with only ten Euros in his or her pockets. According to him, he would start cooking cepes mushrooms, fry them in a small amount of oil. Moreover, he would fry a piece of pork belly along with some chestnuts.
Furthermore, Pierre goes on to give more cost-effective meals that he offers. Notably, one can go for a single oyster. Additionally, the cheese, gigs, and stichelton at this amount could be available to such a consumer. He also says that cooking these with a little bit of honey and whiskey will give a great result when it comes to taste.
It is expected that a chef would be comfortable with his own invented foods. But Pierre Gagnaire is completely different from the others. He says that fruits can be the most comfortable food for anyone, even for a chef. Therefore, everyone should try seasonal fruits regularly. Along with that, he says that he consumes a square of chocolate on a daily basis. Moreover, he loves to toast with a small amount of butter.
Pierre gave some other options for his comfort foods as well. He said that oysters, cheese, jambon cru are also his favorite foods.
We were going through an interview with Pierre Gagnaire and all of a sudden, we encountered a peculiar question. What would he do when he is stuck on an island? The master chef replied in a witty manner. The first thing is to make a fire on the island. Next, he said that he would try to realize the nature of the island so that he can cook something simple. He made his choice among fruits, vegetables, fish and herbs.
