2) Ootoya (Japanese Cuisine)
Ootoya is a Japan-based restaurant chain known for serving what they call “Tokyo comfort food”, making it one of the best to dine out 2021, wholesome meals made from fresh ingredients, without any artificial additives. Their soups come highly recommended, as does their chicken karaage – try it with a side of soy sauce for added flavor! If you’re after something light but filling then look no further than one of their bento sets – I personally recommend the karaage bento, which comes with a side of salad and miso soup.
3) Chulalongkorn (Thai Cuisine)
Chulalongkorn specializes in authentic Thai cuisine at affordable prices, making it the perfect place to go if you’re looking for good food without breaking the bank. Everything on their menu is fairly priced – but if you’re after something extra filling then I recommend their rice dishes with chicken/pork/duck/beef/seafood or tom yam seafood options – any one of these will make an already filling meal even more substantial! They also offer cooking classes, so if you’re after something more educational then this might be the place to go.
4) Aussie BBQ & Grill (Australian Cuisine)
If you’re in the mood for some good old-fashioned Australian cuisine then look no further than Aussie BBQ & Grill! Their menu features a truly mouth-watering selection of steak, burgers, ribs, and seafood that will leave your taste buds tingling with pleasure – I recommend their “Down Under” platter which comes with 4 types of meat and 6 sides of sauces/vegetables/salad, etc… Don’t forget to save room for dessert though because their mud pie is absolutely divine! They also offer cooking classes, so you can be the next Iron Chef – but for now, let’s keep it simple with some sausage sizzle and a beer
5) Amoy Street Food Centre (Local Cuisine)
Amoy Street Food Centre is a popular food and another best place to dine out 2021 haven among locals in Singapore due to its diverse selection of affordable local dishes that are sure to tickle your taste buds. While there are many stalls at this hawker center that serve good grub, here are some of our favorites: Fong Seng Wanton Noodles, Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, Sin Kee Wanton Noodle etc… All of these places will cost you less than $10 for a meal – the perfect way to save money on food while satisfying your appetite!
6) Xinyao Cafeteria (Taiwanese Cuisine)
Xinyao Cafeteria is a Taiwanese cafeteria that serves up some seriously affordable eats with a local twist! For those looking for something cheap and cheerful, their beef noodle soup is conveniently priced at just SGD5 per bowl, but be warned – this dish is made from scratch so it takes around 15 minutes to prepare, but it’s 100% worth the wait!
